ADVANCING OFFICE OF PVA
Bringing Experience, Education & Hometown Service

ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
I’m happy to announce my campaign for re‑election as Powell County Property Valuation Administrator (PVA). I am the daughter of Wade and Virginia “Gail” Rogers and the sister of Becky Rogers. My grandparents are Lonnie Sparks, the late Nellie Sparks, and the late Buel and Agnes Rogers. I grew up on Little Hardwicks Creek in Clay City and currently live near Bowen. I am a graduate of Powell County High School, the University of Kentucky, Kentucky Real Estate College, and hold numerous industry certifications. I’m passionate about education and improvements that help better serve you.
Powell County taxpayers deserve true real estate experience and true real estate education leading this office. As your incumbent, I’m focused on continuing office modernization, delivering fair and equitable assessments, and supporting ongoing staff training while providing friendly, helpful service to all. My job requires strict compliance with real estate law, statutes, and transparency, which I strive toward every day.
I’m committed to further advancing the PVA office with goals that include online tools, mapping, and digitizing records. I’m excited about the opportunity to see these plans through for the people of Powell County.
I’m extremely grateful for the support you have shown me as your sitting PVA. I humbly ask for your vote in the upcoming election so we can continue the progress we’ve started. I look forward to speaking with each of you in the coming months.
With much appreciation,
–Carmen Rogers
